Fernand Léger
I live in the picturesque countryside of the Haute-Vienne. I studied Fine Art School in Nancy (France) in 1979 (section Art).
Each creation is unique and possesses its own identity.
Handicraft ceramics made of stoneware or porcelain, fired at 1280°. I mix several stones. The piece made at the potter’s wheel, and then I transform the form either in sculpting or in adding the hand forming. I give a different expressions and patterns. I combine several enamels, which are using paintbrushes, making different coats. Some of these pieces are enhanced with leaf gold to add value to the creation.
Signed original: WAX
The ceramics are sold during exhibitions or art galeries and artist’s workshops.
